It is an excellent natural ingredient that nourishes the skin without drying it out. Each soap has its own character, just like the cattle after which they are named.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Noto Serif Display', serif; font-size: 1.36842rem; font-style: inherit;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Noto Serif Display', serif; font-size: 1.36842rem; font-style: inherit;\">Body soap for when your skin needs a little extra pampering.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>If you have dry or sensitive skin that tends to flake or become irritated, I recommend starting with a body soap. It is moisturizing, creamy, and especially gentle on the skin.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"469\" data-end=\"639\">I use body soap specifically when I feel my skin needs extra care\u2014for example, in winter, after being out in the sun, or if my skin has started to flake.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"641\" data-end=\"779\">If your skin is sunburned, it is best to wait until the redness and sensitivity have subsided before gently using soap.<\/p>\n<p>Customers have said it helps them avoid chapping and dryness even without cream.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>If you have very sensitive or easily irritated skin, I definitely recommend a soap without added essential oils. While soaps containing essential oils may smell wonderful, they can sometimes cause irritation for sensitive skin.<br \/>My soap selection also includes a fragrance-free soap. Although beef tallow itself has a natural, mild scent, these soaps are as neutral as possible. They are well-suited for children and for those who avoid fragrances.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:heading {\"level\":3} --><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">All-purpose soap for washing body and hair<\/h3>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Some of my soaps, for example <strong><a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/tallowmar.ee\/en\/product\/highland-veiserasvaseep-siberi-nuluoliga\/\">Highland<\/a><\/strong>, are balanced so that they are also suitable for use on hair.<br \/>If you want to wash your whole body and head with one soap, this is a good and easy choice.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>But I'll be honest, if you haven't washed your hair with natural soap before, there may be a bit of a transition period ahead.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Noto Serif Display', serif; font-size: 1.36842rem; font-style: inherit;\">\u00a0\ud83d\udd04 What is the transition period?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Normal shampoos contain synthetic foaming agents, silicones and softeners, which quickly create a clean and \"silky\" feeling, but in the long run they can unbalance the scalp. If these substances are removed, it may initially seem that the hair remains:<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><!-- wp:list-item --><\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>slightly fattier or heavier<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>more easily tangled<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>less fluffy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>This feeling can last from a few washes to a couple of weeks, depending on your hair type and previous care routine.<br \/>It took me about a week to get used to it, and then I started to notice that my scalp was calmer, the itching disappeared, and my hair didn't need to be washed so often.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>I recommend using an apple cider vinegar rinse after every wash during the transition:<br \/>1-2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar per 0.5 liters of water.<br \/>It helps to balance the pH of the scalp, makes the hair smoother and easier to comb.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Once the scalp regains its balance, the result is clean, natural-looking hair and a calmer scalp.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:heading {\"level\":3} --><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Should you do the apple cider vinegar rinse every time?<\/h3>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>During the transition period, I recommend using a vinegar rinse after every wash to help restore balance to the scalp and hair and to remove any remaining residue from previous products.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>If the scalp is used to it and the hair already feels normal, you don't need to do the vinegar rinse so often, once a week or even less often is enough, depending on how you feel. Some eventually give it up altogether, some remain faithful to it, because it makes the hair pleasantly smooth and easier to comb.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:heading {\"level\":3} --><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What hair types is it best for?<\/h3>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Based on my experience and customer feedback, beef tallow soap works well if you have:<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><!-- wp:list-item --><\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Normal to dry scalp that does not get oily quickly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Short to medium-length hair that is easier to rinse and does not tend to get weighed down.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sensitive or irritated scalp, e.g., itching, redness, or flaking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>If you have very fine and oily hair roots, the soap might feel too heavy at first. However, this is often a sign that your scalp has become accustomed to overly harsh cleansing products.
