NORMANDE is a natural handmade soap with cleansing tea tree oil and moisture-locking castor oil at its heart. Ingredients and their benefits:

Tea tree essential oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)
Contains tea tree essential oil terpinen-4-ol, which has been shown in laboratory studies to be wide antimicrobial and inhibitory effect on inflammatory mediators ; in addition, there is also in human studies from the field of dermatology that point to the benefits of products containing tea tree in supporting skin purity and calmness. In the soap (rinse-off), tea tree gives a clear, herbal "restart" feeling after a long day or workout. Typical allergens: Limonene, Linalool

Castor oil is known for its ricinoleic acid content, which soothes red and sensitive skin, helps reduce inflammation and supports the skin's natural protective barrier. It has a strengthening effect on the hair, improves the functioning of the hair follicles and helps maintain the moisture balance of the scalp.

Tallow offers the skin a rich mixture of nutrients - vitamins A, D, E and K and fatty acids similar to the structure of human skin. It makes the skin elastic, protects against drying and helps restore the skin's natural protection.

Natural glycerin, which is created during soap making, helps keep the skin and hair moist and gives the soap a softening property without additives.

Is Normande suitable for both body and hair?
Yes. Normande is an "all in one" soap - suitable for body and hair. Avoid the eye area.

How to use on hair for best results?
Wet hair, lather directly with soap on the scalp, rinse very thoroughly. At the end do acid rinse (1-2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in 500 ml of water), which smooths the hair and reduces resistance.

Why can hair feel heavy or "strange" at first?
It is transitional period coming from sulfate-containing products (usually 2 - 8 washes). Wash gently, rinse longer and use a vinegar rinse.

How does soap behave in hard water?
Hard water may produce less foam. Rinse longer, if necessary, repeat the wash and perform an acid rinse.

What is the aroma of tea tree?
Tea tree is herbally clear and "restarting".. The fragrance is noticeable in the wash, but disappears with the rinse.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin / children / during pregnancy?
For very sensitive skin, do a tolerance test. Down For the for children, prefer the unscented version. During pregnancy, use products with essential oils in moderation.

Is Normande suitable for shaving?

How to store soap to make it last longer?
Use soap dish with grate and allow the piece to dry between uses. Avoid standing in puddles.
