GALLOWAY Unscented Beef Tallow Balm is a water-free face and body care product for those who value the simplest possible ingredients and prefer their skincare without added fragrance.
The name Galloway is no coincidence. The Galloway cattle breed is known for its hardiness and undemanding nature. This spread embodies much the same idea—nothing superfluous, only what is truly essential.
The main ingredient of the balm is purified beef tallow. I have added Vitamin E and a small amount of Biogard 221 to help preserve it. Galloway contains no added fragrances or colorants; it may have a mild, neutral scent characteristic of beef fat.
Why choose unscented beef tallow balm?
Galloway is ideal when your skin feels dry or rough, or simply needs richer care. As it is a water-free balm, it has a rich, concentrated texture, so a small amount goes a long way.
Use it wherever your skin needs a little extra attention right now:
- for hands and dry knuckles
- for shins and elbows
- for heels and other rough areas
- for the face, if your skin suits a richer treatment
- for daily body care after washing
Galloway is fragrance-free, making it a good choice for those who do not want the scent of perfume or essential oils on their skin.
A small amount is enough.
Beef tallow balm behaves a little differently than regular body cream.
Take a small amount with a clean spatula, let it warm up for a moment in your palm or between your fingers, and apply it to your skin. Galloway is most pleasant to use on slightly damp skin after washing.
Start with a really small amount; you can always add more.
The tallow butter may become firmer in a cooler room. This is a natural characteristic of a fat-based, water-free product and does not mean there is anything wrong with the product.
Why do I use Biogard 221?
Although Galloway does not contain water, the product is often used in the bathroom in real-life situations, and moisture can get into the jar—for instance, from wet hands.
Biogard 221 consists from benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid and I have added a small amount of it to support the product's shelf life.
If you want to keep the contents of the jar as clean as possible, use [something] to scoop out the spread. a stainless steel cosmetic spatula.

Usage
Take a small amount with a clean spatula, warm it in your palm, and massage it into the skin. You can use it on either dry or slightly damp skin.
If you have sensitive skin, test the product on a small area of skin first.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Store at room temperature, protected from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
Make it a simple maintenance routine.
After washing, leave the skin slightly damp and apply a small amount of Galloway.

We have been using it for about a week, and the cream really helps relieve itching. The child no longer scratches the mollusc bumps, the skin can start to heal. We have tried many different creams but this is the only one besides the hormone cream that works.
Since it is a natural cream, a specific smell can be felt a little. It must also be taken into account that the application of the cream is slightly different than in the case of creams made from vegetable fat. At the same time, the cream is used quite a bit compared to creams made on the basis of vegetable fat.

I'm sorry that the user experience was like that. Tallow-butter can harden in the cold and become lumpy when rubbed between dry hands. It usually helps to take the butter with a spatula (or the tip of your fingernail), let a small amount warm in the palm of your hand and apply to damp skin. Great product! Already using the second jar. I especially like to apply a little more product on the skin in the evening and the next day the skin is super soft 😊 In winter, the skin is drier and this butter is simply the best!
I also praise the natural soap to heaven! I will definitely try all the other products soon.
PS: I recommend ordering a spatula as well. Super convenient to take the butter from the jar.

This cream is great for dry skin! I use it on my hands and heels, it's perfect, it moisturizes so well, I get breakouts and I'm fine with it. Also great for eczema, dry patches on the skin. The child develops itchy spots and this cream works immediately, it no longer itches and the skin heals quickly. I use it on my child's face also, for example, after going to the swimming pool (otherwise his cheeks become dry). Unfortunately, my combination face skin cannot tolerate this cream, it immediately gave me bumps. However, this is a very good product, thank you!

Hello, the cream had a very thick consistency, making it somewhat uncomfortable to apply to the face. It also contained lumps that were not very easy to smooth out. Its performance seemed good, however.

While beef tallow balm is a rich and highly concentrated product, its texture shouldn't interfere with use. The best approach is to scoop out a very small amount with a spatula, warm it between your fingers or in your palms before application, and only then apply it to your face.
